TEAM OVERVIEW
KKR’s Global Finance team oversees the firm’s tax compliance, credit and accounting, and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR’s Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Global Finance team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset class, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests.
POSITION SUMMARY
Opportunity to join a global Accounts Payable team in a high-paced Financial Services firm focused in Private Equity. Position reports to Head of Accounts Payable handling multiple facets of Accounts Payable. Candidate will provide ongoing internal support to foster an environment of continuous improvement with respect to service delivery, procedures and the use of technology for Accounts Payable /Treasury Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable
• Maintain the confidentiality of all company, client and vendor information; as well as maintaining internal controls and records for auditing purposes and seeking to mitigate operational risks
• Review AP Mailbox on a daily basis to identify new vendors that require onboarding.
• Assist with high volume of vendor invoices for processing through Concur invoice platform globally.
• Maintain high level of service standards interacting with vendors directly on inquiries to support positive vendor relationships and communication.
• Flexible to participate in projects, status updates and weekly calls.
Coupa Vendor Onboarding
• Oversee global vendor onboarding process and changes to vendor information for setup in Coupa/s4.
• Perform verbal call back verification of vendor information for completeness.
• Manage New vendor, changes and updates to vendor information in Coupa
• Review Coupa daily to follow up on open items that need to be actioned and complete each task required.
• Keep Excel Vendor log up to date as needed
• Work with Global treasury team to ensure that vendor information is properly capture in Treasury database.
• Participate in project initiatives geared towards technological enhancements, contingency planning, risk reduction, and/or improved customer service
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS
• Motivated, organized, resourceful, process improvement oriented and self-reliant candidates with strong attention to detail who is innovative and interested in working in a fast paced and demanding work environment
• Experience in a multinational Financial Services organization and/or Private Equity preferred
• Must have a professional presence with excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multiple tasks, meet deadlines and pivot priorities as required
• Build strong collaborative relationships and communicate complex information clearly and concisely with global colleagues
• Understanding of business processes of accounts payable, general ledger accounting and treasury operations
• Proficient in data analytics, report development
• Advanced Excel, Power Point and Presentation skills
