Accounts Payable Manager

Modivcare is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. The Accounts Payable Manager will lead a team who process' vendor accounts, vendor disbursements, and assists with special projects and process improvement initiatives. You will report to the Accounts Payable Director.

- Oversee Accounts Payable Vendor and Disbursement team for multiple business units.
- Manage Accounts Payable team in completion of 1099 and related tax matters.
- Develop and maintain systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Act as a liaison between the accounts payable, operations, claims, procurement, treasury and external customers.
- Verifiy and research vendor statements and handle all assigned vendor correspondence.
- Help with month-end closing.
- Helt gather requested information and support for internal and external audits.
- Respond to inquiries from senior management regarding accounts payable issues.
- Develop enhanced internal controls.
- Monitor the team's adherence to policies and procedures for internal controls and separation of duties.
- Coach team members and provide expertise on the processing, recording and reporting of accounts payable transactions.
- Assesses strengths and skill gaps within the department.
- Tests system upgrades before going live to production to ensure AP module is performing as expected.
- Assists with special projects, including new software implementations.

- Bachelor's degree or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume accounting department
- Prior supervisory experience
- Intermediate or advanced Excel experience required
- Must have large systems experience, including purchasing, vendor and payment modules; experience with Workday or equivalent general ledger system

Salary: $81,142 -- 118,910/annually
Bonus eligible based upon company and individual performance.
