The Role:
The Accounts Payable Manager is primarily responsible for executing scalable solutions in support of a remote W-2 and 1099 workforce.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong understanding of data management and payment processing, with an eye for process improvement and prioritization. The role will manage a team of three to four AP team members and will work closely with business partners across the company to ensure timely approval of invoices and expense reports. The ideal candidate is someone who can process a large volume of work while advocating for process improvements.
What You'll Do:

• Identify and recommend process improvements such as training, customization, automation and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the payments system (Bill.com).
• Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations with respect to vendor onboarding and vendor payments.
• Identify, recommend, and program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports
• Collaborate with other analysts and accounting staff to plan, modify, and customize the payments system and to test new applications and features
• Support monthly financial close process with reconciliations and other task
• Prepare training materials, guides, and documentation when needed
• Support AP Associates by entering, maintaining, and/or processing GL and project information coding in the AP and procurement approval system; information may include vendor profiles, GL coding, and memo lines

• You understand what is required to automate processes while improving accuracy and efficiency.
• You enjoy building relationships with key stakeholders and cross functional teams to better drive change

• You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to completion

What You've Done:

• You have supervisory experience in AP focused role for a $100m+ revenue company
• You have experience with the following systems/tools: intermediate Excel skills, Bill.com, Microsoft Dynamics, Sovos, bank portals (JPM)
