What We Need

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and timely, and maintaining strong relationship with vendors and publishers.

What You Can Expect In This Role

• Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices for various company expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Payment Management: Prepare electronic transfers and payments, including checks and ACH transactions.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Vendor Relations: Maintain and update vendor files, respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Expense Reports: Process and audit employee expense reports for reimbursement, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts payable reports, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Office, and Expensify
• Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and rapport within and across teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify issues, conduct thorough research, and resolve

US Jobs: The base salary range for this role is: $70,000 – 80,000 per year. The range listed is just one component of Yieldmo's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience, level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
