Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. You will process the monthly vendor payment runs, verifying vendor account setups and invoicing as well as account reconciliations. An accomplished accounts payable specialist will be someone whose accounting expertise translates into optimized expense control processes. You excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous, demanding environments, has a continuous improvement mindset, is excited to be a part of a scalable, durable department to grow as the company grows.

• Receive, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers, and verifying balances and entries.
• Verify vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase orders, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
• Issue purchase order amendments and stop payments.
• Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger.
• Lead year-end annual 1099 reporting process to ensure accurate completion.
• Work with management to plan and accomplish cash management needs.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
• Keep informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

• 1+ years experience in accounts payable
• Experience in AP workflow, some experience of ERP implementation and / or ERP enhancements, and process improvements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP Accounting)
• Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Ability to work with team members and external clients

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP system
• Experience with TeamPay
• Experience with TripActions
• Public company experience
• International/multi-entity experience

Base Salary: $63,000-$94,500. This range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Other Cash Incentives: For many of our positions, other cash incentives are also available.
