The Accounts Receivable Manager will manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Company’s Accounts Receivable cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the Accounts Receivable collection process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing and discipline of subordinates to which the organization gives significant weight
  • Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals
  • Monitor processing of invoices
  • Ensure timely collection of payments
  • Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
  • Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law
  • Support Accounts Receivable Clerks on a daily basis and train new team members on all collections and A/R duties 
  • Ensure all team members follow the accounting principles
  • Stay updated on industry and legislative changes
  • Work alongside Growth and Quality team to develop training and coach A/R members on departmental processes and policies
  • Reconcile A/R on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Monitor the collection process; identify areas of improvement in process and suggest recommendations to improve the process
  • Handle all customer requests via payment portals 
  • Maintain weekly cash reports 
  • Perform weekly reconciliations on payments received 
  • Maintain monthly open invoice reports for sales representatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred 
  • Minimum 2 years management experience  
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Fluent in multiple languages preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
