Our work will take you in different directions
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Finance team, based in Mascot. Reporting through to the Finance Director ANZ, you will operate across all KONE business lines. It is a true co-pilot position, driving the performance of our collections function and maintaining pro-active customer engagement.
What will you be doing?
As a key member in our Finance team, you will be responsible for developing a highly engaged, customer focused team as well as driving a disciplined Accounts Receivable function with relevant policies and procedures and a contemporary approach to collections management. You will be a positive leader, delivering transformation and results through collaboration and people.
- Management of Accounts Receivable processes and reduction in balances including all Business Lines and Regions across Australia and New Zealand.
- Drive a transformative shift in customer centricity and business partnering in AR to deliver results, including a clear roadmap and implementation plan for delivery.
- Lead, collaborate and influence across all levels/areas of the organisation, reviewing existing processes and executing change to reduce AR issues.
- Manage local collections team, ensuring activities align with a risk-based approach and leverage technology and automation to deliver value for effort.
- Analyse Accounts Receivable and other financial reports to monitor performance and track KPIs including DSOโs and % overdue.
- Negotiate alternate payment arrangements with customers when necessary, and within KONE escalation and approval requirements.
- Travel to regions to work with teams, undertake debtor reviews, deliver presentations on receivable analysis, and oversee policies and processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cash collection forecasts.
- Active member of the broader Australia and New Zealand finance team, participating in cross-team collaboration.
- Participate in the global finance community, working closely with Shared Services teams to drive best practice and gain support for initiatives that benefit collections processes.
- Lead and develop direct reports to achieve established goals and career paths.
What are we looking for?
- Credit management professional qualifications desired
- Minimum 5 yearsโ experience in similar role, within a large construction and/or service industry
- Proven track record in delivering change and transformation to achieve results.
- Enthusiastic and motivated leader and team player focused on growth and driving a constructive culture.
- Prior experience in using SAP (preferred) and Intermediate MS Excel.
- Demonstrated influencing and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, commercial environment.
