About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our EMEA Accounts Receivable team at Driscoll’s. The primary goal of this department is to maintain a solid debtors portfolio with minimal overdue balances while fostering strong relationships with our customers, growers, and nurseries across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to address issues, streamline processes related to sales and claims, and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.

 Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and guide the AR team, overseeing transactional processes and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable.
  • Invoicing & Credit Management: Manage invoicing and credit note processes in collaboration with the sales department.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, growers, and nurseries to facilitate timely collections and resolve potential issues.
  • Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance processes related to sales, returns, and claims.
  • Accounting Activities: Oversee monthly accounting closing activities and provide accounts receivable-related analysis.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and group policies while maintaining the credit policy.

Candidate ProfileRequirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 6 years in a financial role within a commercial company.
    • At least 3 years of experience managing people.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written); Spanish is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
