As an Accounts Receivable Specialist…

You will support our finance and accounting team to help us scale our accounting function. We’re growing quickly and need someone that can be part of making us efficient and effective.

You will be involved in and responsible for:

-Customer invoice calls for all new invoices and aged invoices after 60 days.

-Additional follow-up with customers as needed to include revising invoices for PO references or other customer requests.

-Manage communication with customers that come in through email, phone calls, and communications from internal teams.

-Record deposits and manage reconciliation for check and credit card payments.

-Prepare end-of-month A/R reports for the month-end close process. 

-Assist with balance sheet reconciliations related to A/R. 

-Manage and maintain relationships with Boards of Cooperative Educational Services.

What you should bring to the table:

-You have a four-year college degree in Accounting or have comparable, continuous work experience.

-You have 1-2 years of accounting experience in a professional work environment.

-You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to focus to finish work.

-Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel.

-A desire to be part of a fast-growing company.

2. Strong technical skills: You enjoy making Excel work smarter for you. You have some experience with pivot tables, advanced formulas (SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, VLOOKUP, etc), and can access many of the powerful, advanced functions.

3. Thoughtful intensity: You are intense in your work and can manage on your own, but you also know how to look up and help others. You know that Finance is a team that helps Apptegy’s teams, clients, and investors. Working diligently gives you the opportunity to help others and take things off their plate when needed.
