Accounts Receivable Specialist

​Morrison Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team at our corporate office located at 1825 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505-6240. This team member will work Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and will work 40 hours a week.

The starting compensation rate ranges from $20.00-$21.00/hour.

Essential Functions: 

• Process incoming payments in compliance with company policies and procedures 

• Process and run credit cards 

• Set up new accounts and provide maintenance on current accounts 

• Handle inquiries from customers regarding payments and billing issues 

• Compile and maintain spreadsheets for month end reporting 

• Other tasks and special projects as assigned 

Qualifications: 

• College degree preferred 

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office- especially Excel 

• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy 

• Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to multi-task
