Position Summary

Points North, the leading software company in the compliance and reporting space, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage customer cancellation and refund requests, issue invoices, post payments to accounts, assist with collections on past-due accounts, and reconcile billing discrepancies. You will verify billing information for new customers and place holds on services for existing customers if their information is out of date. You will also assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with month-end responsibilities related to accounts receivable and other customer-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire order to cash process including customer renewals
• Manage cancellation and refund requests
• Manage the accounting email inbox
• Maintain customer master data
• Process and post customer payments
• Respond to customer inquiries
• Reconcile billing issues
• Miscellaneous finance support duties

Education and Experience

• Basic accounting experience
• Associates degree in related field (preferred)
• Billing experience (1-2 years preferred)
• Accounting and billing software experience
