Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the processing of Accounts Receivable invoices and payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate invoices in ERP software system for multiple companies

• Apply customer payments

• Research and solve payment discrepancies

• Maintain reports and spreadsheets in Excel and Google Sheets

• Provide a high level of customer service with customers and other departments within the company

• Contact customers in regards to collection of past due balances.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of quality and accuracy

• Excellent organization skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Positive and self-motivated individual who can work independently

• Ability to work overtime as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on Accounting experience. 2-4 year Accounting degree in lieu of experience.

Systems: MS Excel, Google Sheets and ERP software systems

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use
