Accounts Receivable Specialist

About The Role 

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to process full cycle AR, and act as a main point of contact for all AR related inquiries both internally and externally. You will be part of a fun and dynamic finance and accounting team and will work directly with the Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager to ensure all aspects of receivables and collections are done efficiently and timely including but limited to: 

• Initiating all customer billings within various ERP and portal-based systems. 
• Accurately apply all payments, credits, and chargebacks against open receivable balances. 
• Research and enter customer chargebacks, credits, and deductions. Work with internal departments to identify any mistake and dispute when applicable. 
• Review aged Invoices, issue statements, follow up with customers on past due balances. 
• Routinely reconcile customer portals to internal records to ensure invoices are being processed and paid.  
• Reconcile and post payments. 
• Maintain an up-to-date AR aging report. 
• Assist with cash applications for month end close.  

Qualifications & Experience 

• 5-7+ years of Accounts Receivable experience. 
• Experience with NetSuite and SPS Commerce strongly preferred. 
• Experience working with large wholesale companies such as Sephora, Target, etc. 
• Strong computer skills Including Excel and Microsoft applications. Ability to setup and navigate various customer portals. 
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills.  
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. 
• Must possess excellent time management skills. 

FAQ

• Compensation: $60,000-$68,000+ Equity. This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
