Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in our Revenue Cycle Management Division! This Account Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting Billing operations to ensure collection of account documents are processed within our Service Level Agreements. Efficient is using several different applications to determine next action and is proficient in simultaneously handling multiple responsibilities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Sort/open and process mail as it comes from the United States Post Office, FedEx and UPS; deliver to appropriate department for next actions timely 
• Prepare documents for outgoing mail to patients, clients, and insurance companies (Insert & Print Operator, refund check processing, preparing overnight shipments) 
• Meet and maintain production goals 
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures 
• Perform required process improvement Lean activities (Go Meetings, 5S, etc) according to established expectations 
• 10 key and data entry 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to work onsite in Graham, NC facility
• Previous accounts receivable, billing, office administration, data entry work experience strongly preferred
• Must have and maintain a valid NC Drivers License for daily route to pickup and deliver mail to various locations 
• Able to lift 25 lbs required
• Standing for long periods of time required
• Must be detail oriented with ability to work on inventory that is repetitive
• Understanding of basic principles of Microsoft Office preferred 
• Ability to operate Fork Lift strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Ability to work and learn in a fast paced environment

Pay Range: $15/hr-15.50/hr (State minimum wages apply if higher)

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
