Accounts Receivable Specialists

A full-time opportunity is available in our Lisle-based technology company. Fast paced environment, the ability to multi-task is required to successfully manage customer demands and process large volume of invoice transactions. We are seeking a full-time, experienced Accounting Specialist. The ability to multi-task is a MUST to successfully manage customer demands and process a large volume of invoice transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely billing of customer invoices and reporting
• Communicate effectively with customers and other departments
• Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with established best practices
• Manage transactions, invoices, etc., and reconcile accounts to assist with monthly or annual closing
• Help in the development of reports for management and maintain various tracking reports
• Reconcile discrepancies and analyze account information
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
• Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
• Assist in management by recommending financial actions and analysis
• Ability to review customer agreements and check for accuracy as well as compliance
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Accounting experience, public accounting a plus
• Experience with QuickBooks professional services required
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes
• Deadline-Oriented and effective time management
• Monthly Reporting and Reconciling
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize
