What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, WI. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. This role will be part of our Inside Sales Team for Controls & BAS Products in North America, where you will gain insight to our ACE (Accelerated Controls Excellence) Sales Development program. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.
How you will do it:
• 10 Week Internship starting 6/12/2023
• Operate under direct supervision
• Attend technical product trainings to gain a general understanding of HVAC/R applications
• Network with the current ACE Team and build strong relationships with peers
• Provide technical, commercial and pricing support to field sales personnel and customers
• Interact with sales team, product managers, and directly with customers
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned
What we look for
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering
• Currently a senior status
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and organization skills preferred
• Demonstrated problem solving skills required
• Ability to work effectively in a high energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
• Strong technical proficiency in Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products
• Ideal candidate will have an interest in learning about the HVAC/R industry and about how business-to-business sales work
