Job Description

LS Technologies, LLC is seeking an Engineering and Acquisition Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The candidate must have the knowledge and expertise to support the development of a Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Proposal (RFP). The candidate must be able to work directly with program office engineers and analysts to identify and write requirements and SIR/RFP content that meets the larger objectives of the program and the Agency. The candidate should have a technical understanding of system development and implementation efforts to write Statement of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statement (PWS) task statements.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate technical interchange meetings with engineers to define requirements for a SOW/PWS
  • Analyze and define services (e.g., engineering documentation, system development, test and evaluation, training) that would be required from a vendor
  • Draft a SOW/PWS that accurately reflect program needs
  • Assist with development of other SIR/RFP sections to support a procurement

Requirements:

  • Technical understanding of system development and implementation efforts.
  • Understanding and appropriate application of Firm Fixed Price and Time & Materials contract types as it impacts writing of the SOW/PWS.
  • Understanding of performance-based contracts.
  • Previous experience with and ability to write SOW and develop other SIR/RFP sections.
  • Advanced to expert level proficiency in Word required.
  • Self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
