PRIMARY FUNCTION
Troy 7, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support the Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), within the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) on the Redstone Arsenal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides acquisition strategy development and analysis during pre-solicitation through contract execution
- Provides guidance on regulatory requirements
- Assist in developing government Contract Requirement Packages
- Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedure
- Supports the development and/or review of acquisition and program management documentation, briefings, and white papers
- Assist the Government in conducting market research
- Assists with the development of Statements of Work/ Performance Work Statements, CDRLs, source selection plans, determinations and findings, simplified acquisition management plans, and other contract related documentation
- Provides review and comment on contractor technical evaluations and/or independent government estimates
- Assists with the establishment of long-range procurement objectives for requirements to be executed each fiscal year
- Utilize independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high, up-tempo, and detail-oriented work environment
- Participates in definition of assignments, including identification of work to be done and deadlines for completion; plans and organizes the work; interprets regulations; and coordinates with others as necessary. Completed work is generally reviewed by the supervisor for compatibility with goals and for effectiveness in meeting objectives
- Assist with the management of property delivery and transfer on FAR based and OTA contracts
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- DoD Acquisition Workforce Certification Level III
- Experience supporting acquisition programs in a Project Office, in the Army Contracting Command, or a similar capacity
- Previous experience in R&D, a test community, or with an Other Transaction Authority is preferred
- Strong communications and analytical skills, self-starter, and detail oriented
- Experience with the FAR/DFAR and DoD Directive 5000 series
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business field or 24 business related credit hours.
- Active Secret security clearance
- Experience with USG Contracts (Required)
