Job Summary:
The Acquisition Marketing Manager is a critical member of the Digital Marketing team. The role is primarily responsible for the planning, creation, and execution of marketing programs to generate qualified website traffic and leads. With an initial emphasis on digital paid media, this role will also be instrumental in growing our broader customer acquisition efforts in digital advertising, and leading marketing programs across platforms and into new channels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee numerous acquisition marketing programs, with an emphasis on paid social media platforms and programs designed to increase site traffic, generate leads, and drive sales.
- Ideate, implement, and manage paid social media marketing campaigns on multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn to achieve performance goals.
- Identify and oversee new acquisition marketing programs with an eye for performance, including referral marketing, affiliate marketing, optimizing organic marketing by working in close collaboration with the broader marketing team as well as select agencies.
- Develop testing roadmap and participate in creative briefings and performance readouts in close collaboration and partnership with brand and creative teams.
- Monitor and analyze spend to align with monthly budgets and ongoing optimization to drive returns.
- Partner closely and effectively with Creative team, designers, and copywriters to develop high performing, on brand marketing campaigns.
- Create, maintain, and distribute weekly and monthly reports.
- Keep pace with all paid digital advertising industry trends, and developments, keeping the broader team informed of how they could be used to reach our team goals
- Conduct competitor research to support broader digital marketing initiatives
- Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed and must be available for occasional support outside of business hours.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of paid social advertising on large social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.) with an interest in emerging paid media platforms
- Experience in other digital advertising platforms and programs
- Experience overseeing agencies and/or leading teams (direct or indirect)
- Strong general marketing skills with a passion for winning the customer
- Highly analytical with demonstrated business acumen
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written form
- Ability to understand marketing data, build reports, and summarize in a meaningful and actionable format
- Experience with Advanced Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience using Google Analytics (3+ years)
- Ability to work collaborating and successfully on cross functional projects
- Team-player with "can do" attitude, highly resourceful and proactive
- Strong ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize across dozens of opportunities focusing on the most productive tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads and Yahoo Ads.
- Basic Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Bonus: Digital marketing certifications (e.g. Facebook ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc.)
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years relevant experience, preferably within a paid social advertising environment and/or digital media or performance marketing
- Bachelor's degree required in a related field such as marketing, business administration, or similar
- Must have 3+ year's experience running business paid media accounts
