Acquisition Project Manager

Job Summary

We are actively seeking to identify personnel to join our team of talented professionals who possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support the strategic goals of the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS).

Our client AAS is in need of Acquisition Project Management support. This individual will be in charge of the pre-award phase of numerous projects. 

Position Responsibilities

• The PM shall have specific mastery level knowledge and experience working with life-cycle support projects in acquisitions & procurement combined with training and practical experience managing, leading, supervising, assigning work, scheduling, meeting facilitation and management analysis
• Lead and direct the RFI, RFQ, and entire solicitation process
• Monitor the project through the acquisition phase until award
• Proactively identify issues and risks, and work with the team for timely resolutions
• Plan and coordinate future contract changes with program and other procurement officials; experience working with 1102s
• Attend meetings with Government leadership and conduct Contractor employee performance evaluations
• Provide thought leadership on organizational improvement and optimization
• Develop and maintain tools to monitor and report work assignments, and tasks
• Develop and update contract deliverables

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study with at least 10 years of experience with federal government contracts
• Subject matter expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 
• Public Trust Eligibility
• Thorough understanding of different contact types and vehicles
