Active Directory and Email Administrator

SVP is looking to hire an Active DirectoryEmail Administrator to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our ADEmail environment.

To be successful in this role, the Active Directory administrator will provide support, implementation, and design services for the SVP Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise (multi-domain environment), including directory and future identity management solutions. Additionally, as Email Administrator, this person will oversee and manage our Email instances and other enterprise applications as they are deployed. This team member would also assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining the email environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required to isolate problems, recommend solutions, and implement solutions. In addition, the ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Email Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project implementation and support of all email-related technologies (G-Suite, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange)
• Engineer, test, and install solutions to problems and define areas for improvement as needed.
• Coordination of changes in conjunction with established change management policies
• Monitoring systems alerts, performance, and utilization reporting.
• Quickly responds to incidents and requests within a ticketing system, providing resolution within a complex, fast-paced business environment.
• Be a technical point of contact when testing, planning, and rolling out new features and updates.
• Review current infrastructure and make recommendations for optimization.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to other teams and team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Active Directory Responsibilities:

• Installation and configuration of Active Directory domain controllers.
• Perform AD server configuration as per customer standards.
• Deployment of MS security hotfixes
• To perform upgrades to our Active Directory environment within the change management process
• Manage the system properties, policies, and services on the active directory top-level domain structure and delegate control/administration on the active directory lower-level domain structure.
• Managing schema updates
• Management of Active Directory domain controller FSMO roles
• Managing of Group policy objects (GPO)
• Add, remove, and configure Active Directory sites, site links, and subnets
• Installation and configuration of DHCP servers
• Diagnose and resolve problems associated with the Directory Replication service
• Configure and manage the AD DNS services
• Create or remove Trust relationships
• Configure and manage the Directory Replication service
• AD Disaster recovery
• Ensure the overall security of the Active Directory domain.
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Understand and manage Azure Active Directory.
• Active Directory process automation via PowerShell scripting.

Requirements:

• 3yrs + experience in building & maintaining Microsoft Active Directory Domains & Email infrastructure.
• Ninja RMM administration experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Power shell scripting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with managing Enterprise SaaS solutions (preferred)
• Google Apps Certified Administrator (preferred)
• Microsoft Exchange experience (preferred)
• Ability to create shell scripts and leverage APIs (preferred)
