• Assist in building and maintaining tools and dashboards used for loss development analysis and trend identification.
• Collaborate with senior team members to enhance monthly performance metrics and automate calculation processes to increase efficiency
• Contribute to the evaluation of reserving methodologies and work towards improving accuracy using conventional and new techniques
• Support the financial reporting process by providing key actuarial inputs and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Take ownership of the tasks assigned and drive insightful analysis

• Bachelor or equivalent degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or similar
• At least 3 CAS exams is required
• 1-2 years of relevant internships, or entry-level experience in P&C actuarial field (flexible scheduling during exam preparation and continuing education support for FCAS; we want to be part of your career development!)
• Experience or knowledge in reserving, pricing or modeling is a plus
• Personal or commercial auto insurance experience required
• Very Strong Excel; experience with SQL and R (or Python) and an interest in coding/automation is preferred
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Strong organization and time management skills

Starting in September 2023, this role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. 

The expected range of pay for this position in the US is $91,260 - $130,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
