Actuarial Intern (Hybrid)

Duration: 10 weeks, Paid Internship

Responsibilities:

• Assist in modeling and developing a new life insurance product with one of our Partner Carriers
• Assist in enhancing tools and methods for evaluating product competitiveness
• Assist in the development of models to quantify the value of liabilities
• Analyze demographic data for current clients
• Assist in the analysis of existing reinsurance transactions

Qualifications:

• Completion of at least sophomore year in college, majoring in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics orotherrelated field
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) preferred
• Aptitude for working with formulas and data
• Good communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to prioritize work on multiple projects
• Passing score on 1+ actuarial exam(s) recommended, but not required
• SQL,VBAor programming experience a plus

Relationships:

• The position is part of either theProduct or Reinsurancedepartments. This position requires collaboration at all levels of the organization and with other members of theProduct and ReinsuranceDepartments.
• This position may work with outside parties, including vendors. This position will require no travelin order tomeet those needs
