What it’s like to be a Northbridge Pricing Actuarial Manager

Our Actuarial Pricing Managers work hard to provide support to their Pricing Analysts, as well as the Underwriting department; providing insight and information which allows them to best serve our customers. They use their strong Actuarial knowledge and Leadership skills to help price our Personal and Commercial insurance products, ensuring we are making extremely calculated decisions on each risk we take. They also look at Key Performance Indicators and Manage their team from an Operational standpoint.

They're passionate about leading teams that dig deep into the data and provide an extremely detailed opinion of what we should be doing and using this information to help guide our path on a specific Risk up to a Portfolio level. Working in a collaborative leadership team, there is the opportunity for developing new pricing strategies and methods, while staying on the cutting edge of new technology that can help shape the future of the science.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

• Leading, not just Managing

• Detailed Profitability and Rate Indications Analysis

• Ratemaking, with advanced knowledge of advanced mathematical theory

• Excel, VBA, SaS, and Access

If you have:

• Sc. In Actuarial Sciences or a Master’s Degree in Mathematics

• 7-10 years in P&C Pricing experience

• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
