Acumatica ERP Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Acumatica ERP Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and customizing Acumatica ERP systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to our clients, and specializing in project accounting. The Acumatica Technical Consultant will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements, and will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and implementing Acumatica ERP solutions to meet those requirements.

Contract Length: 6 months with chance to extend

Salary: $120,000

• Work closely with client to understand their business processes and requirements
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
• Follow established Acumatica implementation standards
• Develop and/or maintain all project documentation and client reporting.
• Configure and customize Acumatica ERP solutions to meet client requirements
• Develop and maintain customizations, integrations, and reports within the Acumatica platform
• Provide user training and documentation on specific solutions to aid business partners in preparing for solution presentations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project delivery
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Acumatica developments and best practices

Requirements:

• Acumatica certifications (e.g., Acumatica Certified Developer)
• 5+ years of experience implementing and customizing Acumatica ERP systems
• 5+ years ERP software implementation experience in business consulting, project management, project definition, estimating, proposal writing, engagement planning.
• Experience in one or more verticals like telecommunications, construction, manufacturing, distribution, field services, financials and/or Inventory ERP implementation
• Expertise in project accounting to provide best practices for managing budgets, inventory, change orders, time sheets, billing, profitability, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting understanding; Draw T-accounts for analytical uses, know basic accounting concepts – ledgers, sub-ledgers, debits and credits.
• Experience with Acumatica customization tools, including Acumatica Framework, Acumatica Customization Platform, and Acumatica Report Designer
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Acumatica certifications (e.g., Acumatica Certified Developer)
• Organized and analytical, and able to eliminate implementation obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
• Strong presentation skills, can communicate professionally, and can Write reports, business correspondence, professional emails and procedure manuals.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information.
• You are self-motivated with a proven track record in business software sales and knowledge of technology.
• You are comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
