Integration Engineer for ADAS/AD Systems

Your job:

• Build and bring up of development vehicles for Advanced Driver Assistance & Automated Driving Systems based on Radar, Cameras, Ultrasonic sensors, and Lidars including reference systems.
• Validation and Verification of prototype systems in development vehicles for active safety and comfort functions such as FullSpeed Range Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Imminent Braking, Lane Keeping, Lane Centering, Automated Parking, Driver Monitoring, etc.
• Calibrate sensors in vehicles and calibrate functions for optimal performance.
• Demonstrate prototype systems to customers and press.
• Close interaction with internal function development teams and external suppliers for gathering input, evaluating performance, and sharing feedback.

Your profile:

• Bachelors Degree in engineering with a background in general electro-mechanical engineering, robotics, system controls, and physics. (Masters Preferred)
• Automotive experience, preferably in the field of ADAS, Automated driving, and vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with Vehicle Application Integration
• Experience with design and validation of Vehicle HMIs
• Experience with vehicle architectures/networks (CAN, Flexray, Ethernet)
• Experience with Measurement & Calibration tools like Controldesk, CANape, CANoe
• Experience with vehicle and system testing methodology (vehicle tests, HIL, simulators, ), Automotive SPICE, and ISO 26262 is highly appreciated
• Basic programming skills with C/C++, Python, Matlab
• Good communication with customers and suppliers
• Intercultural cooperation, willingness to travel
• Valid US Drivers License
