The Position

As an Ad Operations Manager at GameChanger, you will be responsible for oversight of the strategy, execution and optimization of our digital advertising campaigns. This is an exciting new role as we are growing our advertising business! You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of advertising operations, report out on campaign performance and collaborate with various teams to maximize ad performance to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of digital advertising platforms and exceptional analytical and project management skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop strategy, implementation and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across the GameChanger platform.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of ad serving, including creative trafficking, campaign setup, QA testing and reporting.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams (e.g., marketing, partnerships, product, design) to ensure the smooth execution of advertising campaigns and timely delivery of assets.

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and revenue growth.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to ad serving, tracking, and creative implementation.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ad trafficking guidelines as determined by GameChanger and agreed to by advertisers.

  • Maintain and enhance ad operations processes and workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ Years of experience in Ad Operations, Campaign Management or Digital Advertising. Bachelor’s Degree Required.

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of successful campaign management and optimization.

  • Knowledge of ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager), ad networks, and programmatic advertising.

  • Intellectually curious about advertising trends and ad industry evolution.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Proficiency in using data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau) to analyze and present campaign performance.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of how to implement digital marketing metrics, KPIs, and industry benchmarks.

  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies related to ad serving and tracking is a plus.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The target salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.

DICK’S Sporting Goods has company-wide practices to monitor and protect the company from significant compliance and monetary implications as it pertains to employer state tax liabilities. Due to said guidelines put in place, we are unable to hire in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC.

Compensation Range: $120K - $160K
