LabCorp is seeking a Admin Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX.
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Required overtime, as business needs.
** This is NOT a remote position**
Responsibilities:
- Act as support the LabCorp operations team
- Support Technical lab departments including Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Microbiology and Molecular
- Work closely with all members of management but reporting into Site Director
- Special projects/Initiatives
- Asset Inventory Management
- Assist in some Management and Employee Engagement activities
- Provide administrative support to team members
- Lead engagement team initiatives
- Organize and maintain files in a confidential and organized manner
Job Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- proficient with Microsoft applications
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
- Must pass a standardized color blindness test
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
**The schedule needs will change based on the state of the lab**
