The Opportunity:
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
- Serves as the lead coordinator for ongoing and discrete internal and external projects inclusive of ensuring all necessary documentation is being collected and organized, timelines are on track, and all deadlines are met.
- Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside parties, including our Executive Team, Auditors, and other department leaders.
- Helps compile quarterly financial statement filings and related documentation.
- Partner cross-functionally to compile audit committee materials to required standards.
- Manages requests from internal and external auditors inclusive of routing requests to appropriate parties for follow up.
- Supports team members in documenting internal control procedures.
- Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
How your role expectations will progress as an Administrative Specialist, Financial Reporting, within the first 30, 90, and 180 days:
30 days in
- Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful.
- Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you’ll contribute to providing great experiences for our customers.
- Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values.
- Learn who your key stakeholders are and how you can best help them achieve success.
- Enhance functionality and accuracy of requests lists used in the quarterly filing process.
90 days in
- Contribute to and enhance our approaches, methods, or technologies to mitigate risks and improve efficiencies.
- Build, maintain, and leverage internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives.
- Own the project management aspect of the quarterly financial statement filing by communicating timely and effectively with external auditors and internal parties, overseeing request lists and holding everyone accountable for deadlines.
- Ensure all internal control procedures and proof of management review are adequately documented
180 days in
- Apply methods to execute individual tasks that positively impact the team.
- Play an active role in continued learning to advance skill sets necessary for team goals.
- Independently own a list of ongoing strategic initiatives and contribute to discrete projects as necessary.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least five (5) years of experience in a professional environment.
- Prior experience at a professional services firm is preferred, such as accounting, consulting, law, marketing, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Focus on collaboration and excellent communication skills.
- High degree of organization and capacity to prioritize and complete numerous tasks simultaneously.
- Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
