Administrative Assistant in Human Resources

Purpose: Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for various HR-related tasks to ensure that administrative requirements are met and the department operates effectively complying with state and federal laws.

Job Description:

• Set up, maintain, and process personnel files.
• Audited personnel files at least quarterly for compliance.
• Follow up with expiring credentials.
• Ensure databases are updated for both active and terminated files.
• Process and maintain I-9 forms 
• Prepare evaluations for managers
• Assist with preparing for in-service trainings.
• Filing and Answer phones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or related fields preferred
• Two (2) year’s experience working in Human Resources, within health care preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under stress
• Strong attention to detail required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required; knowledge of HRIS a plus
