Overview

The Human Resources and Safety Admin Assistant is responsible for assisting leadership in the completion of daily administrative functions. This position will assist in the administration and monitoring of HR and Safety policies, procedures, and programs. Assist supervision in the monitoring and adherence of company policies and programs as well as compliance with federal and state employment and safety laws. Support leadership in the gathering of information related to employee relations issues. Completes recording and reporting of incidents and accidents, as well as assisting in the handling of confidential information and daily tasks.

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook).Ā 
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ā 

How you will make an Impact

  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling meetings and appointments, completing expense reports, compiling documents, and summarizing meeting notes.
  • Create and maintain files and reporting for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Fleet accidents.
  • Monitors and maintains HR, Compliance, and Safety tracking systems and partners with supervision to maintain compliance.
  • Assist with the administration and reporting in the Case Management System.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of employee records.
  • Taking calls regarding Employee Relations, Compliance, and Safety related inquiries/issues.
  • Assist in the gathering of information and documents that at times will be confidential.
  • Support the implementation of Human Resources, Compliance, and Safety policies and programs.
  • May conduct HR and Safety audits to ensure compliance and protect the business from certain employment risks.
