Job Description

Piatt Companies, a leading real estate development, hotel and property management company is seeking a professional and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join their team in Southpointe. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of the office while encompassing a wide range of administrative, organizational, and clerical tasks. 

In the role of Administrative Assistant some of duties you will be responsible for are:

Administrative Support to the office including correspondence, organizing meetings and scheduling appointments.

Reception Area: As the first point of contact when clients and visitors come to the office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. 

Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to emails and address inquiries or redirect them to the appropriate department.

Oversee daily office operations, such as maintaining office and dining area supplies, office equipment, and facilities, ensuring a clean and well-organized workspace, and coordinating with vendors and service providers.

In-office Dining Area: Stock supplies and beverages, make coffee, empty dishwasher and clean and sanitize surfaces.

Provide support to the Accounting department by doing bank reconciliations, cash receipts, company filings, and other bookkeeping responsibilities.

Provide support to the Senior Executive Assistant as needed.

Collaborate with departments to facilitate information sharing and ensure effective communication and workflow across organization.

Handle and complete special projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working in an Administrative role
  • High School graduate or equivalent
