We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented individual to provide general support to our Atlanta, GA office. This role requires an individual with extremely strong data entry knowledge, acute attention to detail, works best in a fast paced environment, is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask at a high level. âThis role is the only one in its department working for a team of 30+. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with starting pay of $20 per hour (DOE) with benefits. Our business hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.Â
We are looking for someone who is available to start immediately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Entry
- Entering Order Tickets, Customer Order Forms, and customer payments dailyÂ
- Printing order summary, obtaining Sales Professional approval and making necessary changes
- Matching deposit summary with orders after nightly batch runsÂ
- Printing Orders Not Uploaded Report for all Sales Professionals
Receiving & Shipping
- Unpacking received shipments dailyÂ
- Prepping and steaming (if necessary) garments for delivery; placing on proper Sales Professionals rack
- Processing returns, remakes and alterations
Garment Check-In
- Collecting shipment packing slips and entering in computer daily
- Printing Received Report; notifying Sales Professionals when items received daily
- Following up on items not been received within timely mannerÂ
AlterationsÂ
- Entering all alteration instructions into the proprietary system
- Delivering/picking up garments to/from outside (contract) tailorsÂ
- Compiling Alteration Expense Summary for in-house tailors and sending to Accounting
Telephones/E-Mail/Mail
- Answering incoming phone calls and giving messages to Sales Professional
- Checking store e-mail daily and giving all information to the proper person(s)Â
- Stamping all outgoing mail
- Taking all outgoing mail to drop box/post officeÂ
Bank Deposits/Errands
- Preparing bank deposit slips and taking to bank
- Sending matching deposit slip and deposit summary to Accounting
- Running errands to dry cleaners, outside tailors and clients as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Experience with social media platforms for marketing and research purposes
- Extensive knowledge of computer, Microsoft Office software and Google Docs
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to routinely handle confidential, highly sensitive information
- Ability to work as a team and remain flexible
- Ability to relate well and communicate with people of all management levels
- Strong organizational skills
- Must possess a registered, insured vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
