Job Description

We believe that when passionate people are able to spend less time struggling with technology, they can spend more time on what matters—like teaching students, running businesses, keeping airports safe, and connecting disaster victims with relief. That’s the real power of simplicity. Cisco Meraki is the leader in cloud-managed IT, thanks to our creative, inclusive, adventurous team that is driven to simplify technology so the world can simply work.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support for three of our Product Management leaders and their teams. All three leaders are based on the west coast, both at our headquarters in San Francisco and in one remote location.

All of our leaders work across functions in the organization, and travel frequently in support of our worldwide business. Their calendars, travel, and expenses, along with special projects, will be your responsibility. To perform these tasks effectively, you will become familiar with our Meraki products, people, and cross-functional dynamics within the PM organization. This position requires the capacity to exercise judgment and maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Using strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, you will be able to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

In return, we can offer the opportunity to grow as you take on increasing levels of support and gain a front seat view of a large, high-growth business. We provide an unparalleled working culture, a diverse and supportive team and some of the most competitive benefits on the market!

You Will:
  • Complete a wide range of administrative tasks including managing demanding calendars, organizing meetings to support our collaborative culture, travel arrangements, and expenses
  • Resolving demands on the time of the leaders you support, to plan, prioritize, and coordinate schedules, such that your leaders are using their time as desired.
  • Making frequent travel arrangements for both individual travel and events such as trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences; and timely completion of expense reports after travel
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on issues and concerns including those of a confidential nature; select appropriate course of action, referral, or response
  • Organize group meetings and events, including any required travel and expenses
  • Create and recommend new processes to build and continuously improve team culture
  • Tackle special projects as needed
You Have:
  • Prior experience in Administrative Assistant role or similar role, with work in a fast-paced organization preferred; be adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to detail and a high level of service and responsiveness
  • Very strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient with office suites, both Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Available for work during business hours (8 am - 5 pm) in the Pacific time zone
You are:
  • Communicative – creative and hardworking
  • Organized – on top of all the details
  • Positive – we bring creative solutions
  • Passionate – we all love what we do
  • Professional - discreet and timely
