Job Purpose:

BTIG's Technology and Business Operations teams seek an Administrative Assistant to handle multiple administrative tasks in our New York office. This includes handling incoming calls and providing administrative support to the Managing Directors and members on the team. This individual must be polished, enthusiastic, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Flexibility, initiative and a drive to succeed are essential qualities for the position. Must be able to wear many hats and work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist and execute a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to, scheduling meetings, conference calls and appointments, making travel reservations, expense reports, calendar maintenance and completing administrative tasks on MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Data input, cleansing and analysis
  • Aid in the reconciliation of client data within our CRM system
  • Working closely with our Business Operations and Technology teams on any CRM/Salesforce related projects
  • Quickly learn new information and learn new applications
  • Reserve and prepare conference rooms as necessary for internal and external meetings including breakfast/lunch ordering for meetings
  • Provide back-up receptionist assistance when necessary; handling all calls in a professional manner, screen and transfer calls as needed.
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an Administrative role
  • CRM/Salesforce experience
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and to anticipate needs
  • Strong professionalism, interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and data management required
  • Strong MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
  • Financial services experience preferred
  • College Degree required
