Administrative Manager - Finance
This individual manages the Finance administrative staff and provides administrative support to several Finance Directors. Routine exercise of independent judgment, initiative, and handling of highly confidential information is required.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and/or supervise work with other activities, resolve conflicts, interpret policy, determine, recommend, and/or implement creative solutions.
- Employee supervision: This position will have supervisory responsibility over one or more administrative staff in the Finance organization.
- Functional management of administrative assistants within the Finance organization: Responsibilities include hiring, workload monitoring, performance management, training plans, career development, and team collaboration.
- Conceive and develop solutions to administrative challenges through the applications of professionally accepted administrative techniques, practices, and procedures.
- Recommend, interpret, and implement company and internal administrative policies and procedures.
- Administrative support for Finance Directors: Provide administrative support of one or more Finance Directors. Responsibilities to include:
- Calendar management, scheduling meetings, conflict resolution and adjudication of times at multiple worksites.
- General administrative support to include preparing for meetings, preparation of background/briefing materials, gathering of agenda items, action item tracking, and facilitating approval requests.
- Coordination of Staff meetings.
- Orchestrate All-Hands meetings including scheduling, preparation of presentation materials, and procuring appropriate support staff.
- Facilitate support of travel and expense reports.
- Support all Finance team members in maintaining an engaged and collaborative workforce.
- Perform in an open and sometimes stressful environment with many interruptions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate high caliber customer service capabilities in support of the business objectives.
- Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You'll Need:
- BS/BA in related field plus 8 years or more related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Ability to plan and anticipate needs.
- Excellent calendar management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent communication and presentation preparation skills.
- Proven ability to perform a variety of administrative and managerial duties requiring initiative and exercise of independent judgment while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to interact and communicate professionally and diplomatically with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external constituencies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands and produce desired results.
- Ability to form trusting relationships with staff of key stakeholders both internal and external.
- Embracing of diverse and inclusive environments.
- High integrity and discretion.
- Must be able to handle confidential material and information on a regular basis, maintain discretion and display a high degree of trust and professionalism.
- Demonstrated employee management experience.
Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Relocation for this position is not available.
Compensation & Benefits:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $108,500 - $149,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
