Summary

As the Administrative Officer for the Office of the Assistant Attorney General (OAAG) in the Criminal Division (CRM), Department of Justice, the incumbent will work directly with OAAG's senior leaders to manage the administrative operations of the office in support of CRM's dynamic domestic and global missions. As the senior leadership office for CRM, OAAG supervises the 16 CRM sections and oversees the development, enforcement, and supervision of the application of federal criminal laws.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-13 level, applicants must have one year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-12 grade level. Examples of specialized experience must include duties such as: Planning, coordinating, and directing a major administrative function or program; analyzing and making recommendations for best utilization of administrative resources; developing new guidelines to improve and measure effectiveness and productivity in administrative processes; and analyzing competing demands to determine the priority of request/tasks to be accomplished.

Selective Placement Factor: To qualify for this position, applicants must be proficient in (English) writing. An applicant's proficiency in (English) writing will be assessed through an on line (USA Hire) writing assessment. Applicants who do not display a minimum level of proficiency on the USA Hire Writing Assessment will be ineligible for further consideration.
