About the Role:
Remitly is looking for a customer-centric Events Specialist who has a strong bias for action and can sweat the details. You will report to the Business Operations Manager, who supports the Office of the CEO. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of a fast-growing company by providing seamless support to the Office of the CEO and company-wide events. This position is based in Seattle and is full time onsite.
You Will:
- Partner closely with the Business Operations Manager to execute project and event deliverables in support of the Office of the CEO
- Organize and execute logistics for:
- Company-wide and large team events - design layout and logistics from end to end. Conceptualize event themes grounded in the cultural values and purpose, format scope and location.
- Offsites and meetings for the leadership team
- Coordinate logistics and travel for Board of Directors meetings and events
- Manage and file expenses for the Office of the CEO
- Partner with the Administrative team for ongoing onsite support needs
You Have:
- Have 3+ years experience executing large-scale events and projects
- Are customer centric, sweating the details and aiming for the stars with events planning to surprise and delight your customers
- Find creative ways to amplify our cultural values and create moments that matter within event planning
- Enjoy ownership of your projects and working in an ambiguous, high-growth organization
- You have a working knowledge of contemporary collaboration and productivity tools - Google Suite, Slack, Box, and Microsoft Office

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $28.85-$36.06. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
