Administrative Specialist - Office of the CEO

Reporting to the SVP Corporate Services & Compliance, the Administrative Specialist assists the Office of the CEO by providing administrative support.  This position supports initiatives and manages projects as assigned with a specific focus on supporting the hybrid and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provides general administrative support to the Office of the CEO.
• Supports initiatives, as assigned, that may be of a highly confidential nature.
• Assists in the daily administrative management of projects including preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, executive decks and other materials as appropriate.
• Assists in directing and managing program initiatives within the Office of the CEO.

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years’ administrative office experience at the corporate executive level.
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Strong communication skills must be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization utilizing discretion, judgment, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Financial/budget management skills.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and apply them to work responsibilities.
• Completion of high school or GED is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

This is a part-time position requiring 30 hours per week. This is a hybrid position that requires flexibility to work periodically in our Reston, VA office.

If you live in CO, CA, NY or Washington State the pay range for this role is $37.25 - $50.45 per hour.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
