Role: Technical Lead
Role Description:
Acts as an extension of the SDM by guiding and overseeing the team in providing the Services for a service area/technical domain within the Tower (e.g., desktops, laptops, virtual desktop technology, MDTs, mobile devices, imaging, packaging, distribution, application Software and business processes required by Customer). Interacts frequently with Customer, other Customer IT Environment Providers and internal and external management, including in multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex network/systems environments, to ensure a high level of Customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and point of escalation for team members. Identifies and resolves complex Problems relating to product/Service installation, update, configuration, operations, performance or other aspects of information technology products and Services. Has accountability for individual and team results, participates in overall program planning objectives and supports activities that are subject to business measurements that impact Customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of technical solutions and management tools
- Effective communications and leadership qualities
- Proficient verbal and written technical communication abilities
- Proven problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Project based Parameters like SLAs, Projects, customer escalations, Service improvements, Automations.
- Experience with the Customer ITSM Tool, Customer's SIAM processes and the ITIL Framework
- Experience with technical project management and tower leadership at global delivery centers
- Demonstrated proficiency in the technical domain
- At least three years of experience in technical service delivery
- At least one year of experience in Service Provider's organization
- ITIL knowledgeable (certification preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 20 hours of ongoing professional training per year
