Administrator II/Administrator III - Quality Document
As a key contributor to the Ball Aerospace Enterprise Assurance organization, this position is responsible for the development, review, approval and maintenance of quality management system process documentation (to include media in various MS Office and other formats) for the full organization in our Business Process Library (BPL). The individual in this position will work independently and effectively to engage with all levels of management and staff across the business to ensure documented compliance to external and internal requirements.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and manage review, release and communication for BPL documentation across the business to comply to external standards (most notably AS9100).
  • Manage consistent document review and approval process.
  • Implement methods to manage changes effectively and efficiently.
  • Define and develop controls to ensure internal and external quality requirements are met.
  • Provide training and assistance for BPL Users and Process Owners.
  • Monitor and review our command media, ensuring consistent application, compliance and communication across process areas.
  • Frequent review of the BPL tool to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform at a high level of literacy and numeracy to ensure the best command media is released.
  • Interact with all process area representatives to provide expert direction in documentation.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders at the operational and executive levels.
  • Edit and format command media appropriately.
  • Be mindful of and suggest improvement ideas.
  • Represent the company in quality audits as required.
  • Manage Currency Reviews to ensure accuracy of all Business Process documentation.
  • Perform Cancelled Document Review on a consistent basis to correct document references.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:
  • Administrator II - BS/BA in a related field plus 2 or more years related experience.
  • Administrator III - BS/BA in a related field plus 4 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, communication, influence, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and also collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer service orientation and commitment to quality, high work standards and initiative.
  • Detail oriented, highly motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite to produce and edit documentation.
  • Utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams in support of role execution.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Relocation for this position is available.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR ADMINISTRATOR II: $64,000 - $87,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
  • HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR ADMINISTRATOR II: $78,000 - $105,400 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
