Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience in a technology or marketing firm, consulting, or corporate strategy role
  • Experience leading and influencing internal discussions by gathering market feedback and synthesizing into key themes and trends
  • Ability to travel


Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, channel partners and/or clients, taking complex material and distilling it into a story that is easily digestible.
  • Experience presenting and delivering written and verbal communications to executive stakeholders, internally and externally (e.g., VP levels)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads products, the GMP stack, GA 360, Google Audience, and Cloud value propositions
  • Understanding of the advertiser's business, marketing goals, and digital ads ecosystems, and able to interpret data and translate it into actionable advice
  • Experience with adult education (e.g., creating, delivering, and facilitating training)

The Product Go-to-Market (GTM) team works with multiple partners and stakeholders to create business strategies that drive advertiser success and Google's growth. We partner closely with Global Product Leads, Sales, gTech, Marketing, and our counterparts around the world to shape the commercialization strategy. In short, the Americas GTM team drives business growth and product adoption at scale.
Every day, privacy is becoming more of a top-of-mind topic for users, marketers, and publishers. As a Privacy Specialist within the Go-to-Market team, you will help support the ad privacy partnership between Google and our clients and create the conditions for an efficient privacy-centric strategy.

Rising user privacy expectations, regulations, and technology are changing the online advertising ecosystem. With deep industry knowledge, the Privacy Specialist will partner closely with our product and sales teams to actively lead complex customer conversations and help scale promoter education efforts across America's customers.

You will have the opportunity to be at the center of one of the most pressing topics the digital ad industry has seen in years. It is a unique position with a healthy mix of collaborating internally with the key Product, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders, while also being externally facing by supporting some of Google's advertisers and agencies. The Privacy Go-to-Market team manages complex material that is constantly changing and evolving.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date on regulations and technology changes impacting the digital ads ecosystem and translate general comms into specific implications for a given industry or sector.
  • Be a small-to-medium enterprise for promoters and customers regarding Google's forward-looking privacy insight, building an external engagements and internal seller enablement strategies.
  • Lead customer conversations for complex privacy-related situations.
  • Lead executive promoter education efforts (e.g., training, comms) and be the connector to existing Google privacy resources for a given industry or sector. Identify resource gaps and new opportunities.
