But AI can help the world with finding medical diagnoses teaching you about scientific research and calculating the complexities of any function.

Like humans algorithms are what they eat. They’re only as good as the rules they know and the data they’re trained on. We’re the team that helps model these behaviors by generating and evaluating content.

The Role

Are you passionate about linguistics? Do you have a natural inclination for descriptive and nuanced writing? Do you enjoy listening to audio content and dissecting the details? Are you an expert in English reading writing and comprehension? If so we’re looking for you!

The work will involve detailed audio clip annotations. This is temporary project-based work with the potential to span over a few months depending on client needs.

System Requirements

Your computer must meet the following minimum system and Internet requirements:

• 20 download 5 upload Mbps speed

• Dual-core processor with hyper-threading

• 8g RAM

• microphone with very clear audio

• If your area receives power interruptions you must have a backup power supply.

Role Requirements

In order to successfully perform in this position you must :

• Have professional English reading writing and excellent auditory comprehension.

• Have a mix of education and professional/practicum-based experience in speech pathology phonology phonetics sociolinguistics American Literature creative writing social work cultural anthropology actor accent coach audiologist communications music/sound designer or adjacent fields.

• Be able to produce high-quality data annotations based on diverse audio content.

• Have a preferred availability of up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

In accordance with client expectations the role of an Advanced/Expert AI Data Trainer will involve using style guides and pertinent resources to:

• Describe the audio clip based on a list of characteristics/attributes categories.

• Write justifications to explain your reasoning.

• Remuneration : Up to $24/hr

Work Hours

Availability and daily hours allocation are flexible and our client strongly prefers a minimum of 20 hours/week.
