Position Title: Advanced Analytics Data Scientist

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Location: 975 Kelly Johnson Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89119

Duties: Work collaboratively with marketers, analysts, and strategists to define the advanced analytical modeling capabilities and outcomes required to enable personalization use cases. Work with collaboratively with the analysts, data engineers, and data architectures to identify and spec the data fields and data features needed for analytical models. Completes experiments, tests hypothesis, perform data mining and builds modules to solve highly complex business problems. Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain and improve on decision support systems. Execute processes including data collection, pre-processing and analysis. Execute processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Utilize predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, targeting, and other business outcomes. Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality. Create various machine learning-based models or processes within the company such as recommendation engines or automated customer scoring systems. Identify existing models needing to be recalibrated or retrained. Work with other members of the Personalization data and analytics team to peer review code, write unit tests, and provide feedback on data structuring and modeling approaches. Create audience appropriate documentation of findings and approach to fully catalog work product. Communicate and review findings with business partners/stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Work from home benefit available within a reasonable commuting distance from Las Vegas, Nevada Office.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Analytics, or a closely related field of study and four (4) years of experience as a (all levels) Associate Consultant, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Software Engineer, or closely related occupation. Also requires at least 2 years of experience in the following:

• Building advanced analytical models;
• Statistical analysis, quantitative analysis, forecasting, predictive analytics, multivariate testing;
• Statistical programming packages including Python, Hive, Shell Scripting, SQL, R, Java or Scale;
• Leverage a variety of platforms to design and execute models using SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Oracle/Teradata, Azure and Redshift;
• Using artificial intelligence and machine algorithms including Regressions, K Nearest Neighbors, Random Forest and GMB;
• Perform processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of imperfect data use for analysis; and
• Generate visualizations and translate key insights, implications, and findings to non-technical audiences to drive adoption.
