ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Advanced Cloud Application Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technical excellence within our Cloud Development team. By working within a team of skilled cloud developers, you will contribute to the successful design, development, and deployment of highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions for our customers globally.
In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cloud-based applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage Azure Infra-as-Code using ARM/Bicep or Terraform for cloud database provisioning and management
- Deploy and configure Kubernetes pods using Helm charts deployments
- Design and implement Azure network topologies, including App Gateway configurations, DNS record management, firewall management, and certificate management
- Ensure cloud solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and best practices
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-based application
- Knowledge of Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments
- Experience with Azure network topologies, App Gateway configurations, DNS record management, firewall management, and CA certificate management
- Working Knowledge of Azure Function Apps and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Databricks or related Data Mgmt technologies(Hadoop, Snowflake etc)

- Advanced Engineering degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with release engineering processes and orchestration configuration (GH actions)
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring configuration
- Knowledge of Cost management, server scaling, job configuration and monitoring
