Advanced Central Process R&D Engineer
We are looking for an Advanced Central Process R&D Engineer to join our team to develop and test advanced interconnect technologies for semiconductor device packaging. The R&D role involves designing experiments and performing these experiments on company advanced display machine and test beds to test and verify performance of the machine and equipment.Â
The candidate will work with the team in Fort Washington as well as the K&S Netherlands team to learn/troubleshoot the equipment and processes as well as present the results and conclusions of the testing to these teams.Â
- Work with system and equipment experts to setup and calibrate advanced display assembly equipment and test beds
- Measure and verify machine and material performance display assembly equipment and test beds
- Perform R&D testing to develop process and methods to build customer advanced display samples
- Prepare reports to summarize data collected during testing and list conclusions which the data supports
Knowledge & Experience requirements
• Strong aptitude and for understanding and working with highly advanced machinery
• Ability to compile results into a report and present clearly to colleagues, customers, andvproject managers
• Knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel and Power Point
• Good written and verbal communication, interpretation, and interpersonal skillsÂ
• Can support test set-up, troubleshooting, design of experiments, lab equipment, etc
• Ability to work with teams to support system level tasks.
• Programming and/or experience with mathematical modeling tools (MATLAB, Python, Mathcad) a plus
Education Requirements
• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

• Flexible to changes in tasks and work environmentÂ
• Willing to travel on a need basis, especially to K&S site in The Netherlands
