Advanced Front-End Developer

The Position:

The Advanced Front-End Developer position provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in ISN’s products and services. As a member of ISN’s Products Team, the Advanced Front-End Developer is responsible for interpreting and implementing UI/UX designs into ISN products. The position exposes individuals to the complete Software Development Life Cycle.

Who should apply?

• 4+ years’ experience in a front-end or UI development role, preferably at a SaaS Company
• 2+ years’ experience with React.js and Typescript
• Experience using JavaScript package managers such as NPM (preferred) or Yarn
• Experience writing React functional components
• Demonstratable understanding of React Hooks
• Understanding of a component library or design system and how it is used
• Portfolio or sample of past work or projects strongly desired
• Proficient understand of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS and JavaScript
• Experience developing and/or customizing UI components and implementing component libraries
• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
• Experience developing and supporting large scale Web Applications is preferred

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Work with other developers to ensure that the application is well-structured and scalable
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to gather requirements and create user stories
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies
• Implement front-end architecture standards
• Build responsive features
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
