Advanced Interior Designer

Position Highlights:

The Advanced Sr Interior Designer position lives within ARCHER’s in-house Industrial Design & Innovation group. This creative expert is responsible for the conception and implementation of guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversees them to completion so that the creation of those brand assets materializes the Brand vision and strategy such as Digital Design, Video Content, Photography, App Development, UX/UI creation, Environment Design, Events and Product Design.

Beyond utilizing his/her creative skills, he/she must lead and mentor a unique internal team of creative Designers as well as manage a variety of external agencies and vendors.

What you’ll do:

• Contribute to the design, engineering, release, and launch of Interior Components and Systems in the Archer ecosystem.
• Work interactively within a cross-functional marketing, design, and aircraft engineering team.
• Collaborate with Interior components suppliers to ensure technical excellence and on time delivery of the aircraft.
• Employ and develop effective tools and an innovative approach to supporting the development
• Create industry-leading Interior Components or Systems, with groundbreaking technology, craftsmanship, performance, safety, ergonomics, and functionality
• Create and execute a workflow plan to integrate internal groups and external partners to implements the Brand guideline principles
• Create the “Ideal State” Brand experience by defining a “first to last mile” customer journey through the entire brand ecosystem. 
• Develop ARCHER App enabling uniquely branded customer experience for passenger and Pilot.
• Contribute to create a portfolio of “Vertiport” architectures from a low to high Capex and low to high passenger throughput based on a modular approach.
• Define and deliver exceptional and differentiated creative expression through breakthrough content.
• Successfully collaborate with agencies and vendors across Space Design, Digital Design, Marketing and brand strategy, PR, Social.
• Supervise and manage a team of creative professionals.

What you need:

• The ability to create in 2D/3D and articulate an inspiring vision for the Industrial Design Brand Experience team and leadership group.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, ability to evangelize and build support for creative concepts and ideas across varying stakeholders.
• The ability to set clear and challenging goals, tenacious and accountable in driving results
• A Designer that leads by example and drives the team's performance towards creativity with an attitude of continuous improvement by being open to feedback and self-improvement
• Bachelor's degree Industrial Design or other related discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years as a designer within an Industrial Design Brand Design team.
• This position requires for this Sr Design leader to be geographically flexible upon project developments but can be led remotely.
