Advanced QA Tester

The Position:

The Advanced QA Tester position provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in ISN’s products and services. The Advanced QA Tester will assist in the development of quality products through the management of testing, automation, and documentation.

Who should apply?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
• 3.5 years’ experience in software testing
• Experience in creation of test plans, test cases and test reports
• Experience using Azure DevOps/Microsoft Test Manger/Jira or similar tool is required
• Experience in automated testing using Selenium/TestComplete/QTP or similar tools
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience writing automation scripts and creating automation framework
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review product requirements, identify potential defects/risks, and develop test plans
• Develop product feature expertise by working closely with Software Development teams and stakeholders regarding product usability and functionality
• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test strategy for web-based UI products and data intensive processes
• Develop documentation for defects/risks reporting in order to support product development and testing
• Develop frequent tests after new product releases, upgrades, or maintenance
• Create and maintain software quality metrics
• Execute functional and regression testing using automation at the application and systems level
• Identify, adopt, and utilize test tools and best practices in fast-paced environment
