Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Advanced Systems Engineer to join our team! Missile Defense Architecture Design supports Senior Leadership and Warfighter stakeholders in making fielding decisions for the sensors, battle managers, communications, and weapons systems of the MDS. Support the Missile Defense (MD) Architect in conducting assessments of MD threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to drive development of potential system mitigations and architecture solutions to address those issues. Support coordination with other MDA organizations, Warfighter, DoD and other external organizations to further define architecture-level sensor, weapon, and command & control mitigations to address MD architecture gaps. Assist in development of the MD future architecture and roadmap for integrating future capabilities, including advance concepts, into the MD architecture, and support development of MD architecture products such as architecture views, architecture documents, evolution plans and top-level requirements.
Job Description:
- Support MDA Architecture Design customer
- Assess MD threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level
- Coordinate with Warfighter, DoD, and other external and internal organizations to help define architecture-level sensor, weapon, and command & control mitigations to address MDS architecture gaps.
- Support MDS architecture modeling & simulation efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) and/or MBSE-based efforts
- Develop analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare analysis reports, and providing reviews of analysis products.
- Contribute to development of MDS future architectures and roadmaps for integration of future capabilities, including advanced concepts, into the MDS architecture.
- Contribute to development of MDS architecture products, such as architecture documents and top-level requirements.
- Support MDS architecture quick-turn responses such as Reports to Congress and higher DoD requests.
- Support coordination of team's responses to MDA-wide tasks, data calls, and review and comment of MDA documents.
Required Skills:
- Master's Degree in STEM Field with 12+ years experience
- Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture
- Prior experience and understanding of MDA mission
- Experience with application of M&S to defense architectures, HPC experience, MBSE experience are all pluses
- Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Systems engineering background or familiarity
Desired Skills:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience with application of modeling & simulation to defense architectures, HPC experience, MBSE experience
- Experience with BMD Benchmark
- Experience developing System of Systems
- Experience with application of modeling & simulation to defense architectures

Salary Range:
$110,600.00 - $219,400.00
